Hello, I'm Jamie Oden and I'm blessed to serve as the Administrative Assistant here at Community Church. My role involves managing the bustling front office, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. Whether it's answering calls, greeting visitors, or ensuring everything runs smoothly, I'm your first point of contact. I also play a crucial role in organizing and procuring supplies for various church events, from funerals to gatherings, ensuring everything is perfectly arranged.

Married to my wonderful husband for almost three decades, we share three amazing children: a daughter who's married and flourishing in her mid-twenties, a son in his early twenties, and a teenage son. Our family found our spiritual home at Community Church many years ago, drawn here initially by the sports ministry which allowed us to connect with the community through shared activities.

Service is my passion and calling. I am deeply committed to helping people in any way I can, be it spiritually, physically, or emotionally. Assisting with funerals is particularly close to my heart, as it allows me to ease the burdens of others during their most challenging times.

Outside of my church duties, I am an avid reader. Immersing myself in books, I travel the world through stories, exploring far-off places from the comfort of my favorite reading spot. When life's chaos becomes overwhelming, I seek solace in a special quiet place—oddly enough, I find peace in the serene environment of cemeteries. There, amidst the tranquility, I find space to reflect, read, or just be.

If I could recommend one thing, it would be to find your own peaceful retreat where you can escape the tumult of daily life and find a moment of calm. Whether it's a bustling community role like mine or a quiet escape to a serene spot, finding balance is key.

I love being a part of the face of Community Church, getting to know so many wonderful people, and forming lasting connections. It's more than a job; it's a joy and a privilege to serve in this community.
