French Toast & Fellowship

The Story of Our Men's Breakfast

O

n the third Saturday of each month, our men’s group has something pretty cool lined up – a breakfast meet-up. It's our way of starting the day on a high note, where guys from all over come together for some solid fellowship and a hearty breakfast. It’s laid-back, with no sermons or formalities, just a bunch of us enjoying each other’s company and some tasty food. It’s the perfect setting for inviting friends who might not usually come to church but are up for a good time and good food.

What’s on the menu, you ask? We go all out with a variety of casseroles, a crowd-pleasing French toast dish, something for the spice lovers, and the breakfast classics like toast, bacon, sausage, not to forget the essential coffee and orange juice. It’s a feast that gets everyone talking and makes the early wake-up totally worth it.

Since kicking these breakfasts back off, we had an amazing turnout one time – nearly 30 guys on short notice. It showed just how much we all value these meet-ups. It’s about more than just eating; it’s about building connections and a sense of community.

These breakfasts are just the start. They open the door to other fun stuff we do throughout the year, like wild game dinners, cornhole tournaments, and golf outings. It’s a way to bring guys together, fostering new friendships and deeper connections within our community. And who knows? It might even spark an interest in joining our men's Bible studies or other church activities. It’s casual, it’s meaningful, and it’s a vital part of our church’s mission to build a strong, supportive community.
